Privacy & affiliate disclosure

Keralam is a free, non-commercial guide to Kerala. There are no accounts, no forms and no advertising trackers. We don’t sell or share personal data.

We use Umami to count visits. It does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses or build profiles, and only records aggregate figures: pages viewed, the referring website, browser and device type, and country. It also counts clicks on the “Stays” and “Tours” links. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is recorded.

We set no cookies. Your browser keeps two small preferences on your own device: your light/dark theme choice (local storage) and whether you have already seen the opening animation in this session (session storage). Neither is sent to us.

The “Stays” and “Tours” links open search results on Booking.com and GetYourGuide. They are not paid links at the moment; if that changes, this page will say so.

When you follow these links you leave this site, and the partner’s own privacy policy and cookies apply: Booking.com, GetYourGuide.

The site is hosted by Netlify, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) in server logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Fonts and images are served from this domain, not from Google or other third parties.

Links to Google Maps and Wikimedia Commons open those services, where their own privacy policies apply.

The site collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
